The terminal hydroxyl group is further transformed to form ethoxylation, sulfation, phosphorylation, non-ionic or anionic degradable aliphatic surfactants, and further transformed into perfluoropolyether surfactants and flurane active monomers.
Reaction with acrylates or methacrylate compounds: formation of perfluoropolyether acrylate or perfluoropolyether methacrylate monomer, further polymerization reaction.
Reaction with isocyanate: To form a fluorinated fatty carbamate, urea or carbonized diimide surface protector.
Used in coating inks, polymer emulsifiers, plastic/rubber processing, cleaning agents and other fields, can replace directly connected branch perfluorinated carboxylate (PFOA)
