Will help identify, evaluate and implement opportunities including but not limited to strategic partnerships, new marketing options and technology licences. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, be able to work in a team environment, show initiative and have solid analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with the Business Development team to follow the company's overall strategy, including fostering new partnerships and collaborations.
Builds collaborative working relationships within the company; actively solicits input and support for business development initiatives.
Regularly reports results of the development process to executives.
Help with market analyses and research.
Help organise conference exhibitions to showcase the company's values and services.
Work with internal/external clients to meet business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
Enrolment in a Bachelor's or Postgraduate programme in Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, Biology or a related field. Business and management training is an advantage.
Good oral, written and presentation skills
Good social skills
Solid time management, planning and organisational skills
Solid critical thinking skills to support quality decision making
Strong analytical skills and/or knowledge
Ability to initiate action and work independently
